Healing Hearts of all ANA scarves has the most heartwarming story. In mid 2015, founder Quin shared a photo of a malfunctioning TV screen to the artisans, jokingly saying that even when her TV is not working, it looks like an ANA scarf design. In July 2016, weaver Dema presented Quin with a blue scarf, simply saying the few English words she knew - "Broken TV". To the weavers, a broken TV would certainly break hearts, as it takes a long time for them to save up for another TV. They made the scarf for Quin, either to heal her broken heart or the heal the TV. Whichever. It is a touching gesture. Hence the name of the scarf - Healing Hearts.
